Frequently Asked Questions:

We've done our best in our Online Remote Cover Shop to create a Web site that anticipates and satisfies our customers' needs. With that goal in mind, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you do not find an answer to your question here, feel free to contact us .

Which keyless remote cover do we need?

Check our detailed
sizes page to see which remote cover is right for you. Print out a template, make sure it’s printed correctly, then place your remote on it to see which remote cover size you need.
Also, don’t forget to check our
key covers. Transponder keys can break, too, and are expensive to replace.

How are our remote covers shipped?

They are packaged in envelopes and then mailed through the Post Office.

How long will it take to get here?

Your order can take from four to sometimes up to ten business days, depending on destination location and the Postal Service.

Will the remote buttons also  be protected?

Yes. There is a clear vinyl window that helps protect the buttons from wear and tear. Also, it helps keep debris out.
~~ Our friend recently had his less than one year old  remote replaced because of grease getting into the mechanism.

Why should we use PayPal? Do I have to open a PayPal account?

While we do accept MasterCard and VISA, PayPal protects you, the customer. Your payment information remains confidential, between you and PayPal. With PayPal, you can use almost any form of payment method you want.

You do not need a PayPal account to pay using PayPal.

Is  there any assembly required?

If your vehicle door lock/alarm remote has already broken off your key ring, just place the  remote into the tote and reinsert the screw clip key ring holder back through the  grommets located at the top of the tote.

If your vehicle remote hasn’t broken off yet, then just remove your remote from the key ring and place it into the tote. This way the  new key ring holder will be swinging on the grommets on the tote - not  on the plastic loop on the remote.
One of the causes of broken remotes is the remote swinging on the key ring. The movement has a  tendency to wear through the plastic loop at the top of the remote.
